A skilled tailor is incredibly important in creating a beautiful bridal dress.
Once a design has been decided, the tailor translates it into pattern, structure and fit. They cut the fabric, construct the garment and make adjustments through fittings until the dress sits correctly on the body.
If you already know exactly what you want: including the silhouette, neckline, sleeves, fabric, construction and detailing, an experienced tailor may be able to execute those instructions beautifully.
But there is a difference between asking:
“Can you make this?”
and asking:
“Will this work for me?”
The second question requires a different conversation.
What Does a Bridal Designer Bring to the Process?
A bridal designer helps you make decisions before the dress reaches the tailoring stage.
Instead of simply looking at a Pinterest photograph and reproducing it, the conversation explores why you like it.

Your Pinterest References Don't Have to Match
One of the most common worries brides have is:
“My Pinterest board is all over the place.”
That's not a problem.
You may love the neckline of Dress A, the sleeves of Dress B and the skirt of Dress C.
You may even have references that seem completely contradictory.
